On the alleged cancellation of NEET 2020, experts are asking for alternatives as in many educationalists opinion, this may not be a good idea. So now the question arises, “If not NEET then what?” To answer the question, there are no official alternatives that have been declared yet. But should there be a situation of NEET cancellation, the following ways may be adopted for admission to medical courses.
Merit-based Admissions: If an entrance exam is cancelled, there could be the possibilities of offering admissions based on candidates’ performance in the previously acquired education. For now, these are all just speculations but if this happens, many students may go into depression if they are not satisfied with their previous performances.
